Waiting is easier said than done

When your thirty and still single it may become worrisome. When you're fourteen and waiting for your soul mate to come tomorrow- it's agonizing. I know, I know at least I have my whole life in front of me. Now, look at it this way(maybe in a science fiction way) I have the body of a fourteen year old but a mind of someone far beyond that. So, when I fell for a loser who supposedly 'likes me' but says his friends don't- I'm devastated. One thing I can't control are hormones and let me tell you they are crazy in love for him. So here I am sitting in front of my computer and counting the days when either he will grow up or I'll find a guy who is a thousand times better. The chances of that happening anytime soon aren't good. Needless to say, waiting is easier said than done.
